Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) CF Scalonetos's Lucio Abajas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute Lucio Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Cenin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Octavio Lesardo fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Scalonetos's protests and gave Octavio Lesardo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CF Scalonetos getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Octavio Lesardo hit a great ball. Vicente Balesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Cenin having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Lucio Abajas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Rogério Cenin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogério Cenin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucio Abajas went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 29 played minutes CF Scalonetos got a freekick which was hit by Adan Galsino. CF Scalonetos's Lucio Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mazinho Marquez hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Lucio Abajas came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the CF Scalonetos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Abajas couldn't finish the play. Lucio Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 48th minute Vicente Balesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Cenin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CF Scalonetos were winning 0-1.

In the 54th minute Finn Hegstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Long saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Abajas in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Cenin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Lucio Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dedé Hermes hit a great ball. When Celsinho Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's protests and gave Celsinho Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Celsinho Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogério Cenin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucio Abajas's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Lucio Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Cenin having to interfere. In the 74th minute, CF Scalonetos's Nicasio Endura seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicasio Endura the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CF Scalonetos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicasio Endura had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. CF Scalonetos:s Ahmed Long showed great skill when he stopped Léo Ribeiro:s penalty. Ahmed Long didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dedé Hermes went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Finn Hegstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmed Long was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Vicente Balesio successfully managed to get himself past Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's defense and had a dream possibility and totally alone with Rogério Cenin everyone thought he would score, but the ball went just outside the top right corner. Lucio Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95thth minute Léo Ribeiro easily got through CF Scalonetos's defense and fired away a shot, but Ahmed Long leaped left and performed a fabulous save. CF Scalonetos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
