A very good chance for a goal. 8 minutes into the match, Les diables noirs's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Abajas came free, but Kevan Grange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Severino Restu fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Scalonetos's protests and gave Severino Restu a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes into the match, Les diables noirs's Thierry Henri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmed Long narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kevan Grange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Abajas in the 16th minute of the match. Kevan Grange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucio Abajas's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Lucio Abajas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les diables noirs's Kevan Grange was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilfried Lépinay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ahmed Long tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of CF Scalonetos booed when Les diables noirs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfried Lépinay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Ahmed Long successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Les diables noirs's Joey Weill got a free kick in the 26th minute. Alejo Iraido took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kevan Grange. Les diables noirs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save CF Scalonetos from getting a goal against them. Lucio Abajas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevan Grange having to make a save. In the 33rd minute, Gustave Pierrel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmed Long was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 42 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henri came free, but Ahmed Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Les diables noirs booed when CF Scalonetos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Abajas in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevan Grange prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucio Abajas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmed Long showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henri in the 59th minute of the match. Ahmed Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Gustave Pierrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Long saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Les diables noirs's Wilfried Lépinay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmed Long narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Abajas couldn't finish the play. When Erubiel Cerilo fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF Scalonetos's protests and gave Erubiel Cerilo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Erubiel Cerilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Abajas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevan Grange having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Wilfried Lépinay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les diables noirs's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfried Lépinay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Long breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmed Long showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustave Pierrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. CF Scalonetos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
