Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Egoitz in the 22nd minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Constantino Elija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Elija stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Egoitz's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Andres Peru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Everardo Gonzales, 2-0. Constantino Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Perutxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Constantino Elija came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s Enrique Henrico. But to his dismay, Enrique Henrico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Robustiano Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Robustiano Paz managed to get in a good position for a shot. ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Paz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantino Elija breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Robustiano Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Robustiano Paz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andres Peru to strike the kick off in the second half. Andres Peru took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Gonzales. Everardo Gonzales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰'s zone, Luciano Salvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Everardo Gonzales came out of the goal and Luciano Salvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Yalapa fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Yalapa's Andres Peru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 68th match minute, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodas Canillas to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Urbasa took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Gonzales. Everardo Gonzales dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Constantino Elija made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Henrico in the 77th minute. In the 80th match minute, ✰VILLA SARMIENTO✰ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Egoitz to maneuver through the defense. Andres Peru scored 6-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Everardo Gonzales, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luisito Atauri scored 7-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Everardo Gonzales, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yalapa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
