Bruno Carciofo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Demetrio Borrelli made a kick off. The supporters of Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Perilli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavinho Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bruno Carciofo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edson Araújo got free with Bruno Carciofo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisinho Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Carciofo having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, José Pedro Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Pedro Vides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Luisinho Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Carciofo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. If Chicão Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Guedes. Bruno Carciofo made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Chicão Guedes sent off a good shot on target.
