In the 4thth minute of the game Hampus Ryberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabalongo AFC's Sebastián Dell´Orto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastián Dell´Orto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Ryberg in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Staffan Nordkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Onsala Ass Kickers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabalongo AFC the free kick. Thomas Hägglund went to the wrong direction when César Larraechea was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Sebastián Dell´Orto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hampus Ryberg's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Jan Björnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Hägglund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eber Larralde in the 17th minute. Thomas Hägglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucero Smith in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper Thomas Hägglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eber Larralde. Emanuel Almendras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Hägglund having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Juan Cristóbal Rubio in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Onsala Ass Kickers's Johannes Stenberg. A collision led to Onsala Ass Kickers getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Emanuel Kilström hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Jan Björnberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eber Larralde in the 34th minute of play forced Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper Thomas Hägglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kåre Bruhn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Marcos Soffia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Hägglund having to interfere. Thomas Hägglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Soffia, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Emanuel Almendras scored 1-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Hägglund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute, Eber Larralde made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Hägglund. Onsala Ass Kickers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of Onsala Ass Kickers booed when Tabalongo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Raúl Pinuer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, César Larraechea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomas Hägglund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Johannes Stenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Thomas Hägglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Soffia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tabalongo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Onsala Ass Kickers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
