The supporters of Cesate booed when Tabalongo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucero Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eber Larralde in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Carciofo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Carciofo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Almendras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastián Dell´Orto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eraldo Di Matteo went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eber Larralde in the 33rd minute of play forced Cesate's goalkeeper Bruno Carciofo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Almendras struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Bruno Carciofo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabalongo AFC. Ubaldo Hormeño hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Tabalongo AFC's Sebastián Dell´Orto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Tabalongo AFC from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Di Matteo came free, but Sebastián Dell´Orto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Demetrio Borrelli made a kick off. Sebastián Dell´Orto came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cesate's Demetrio Borrelli. But to his dismay, Demetrio Borrelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Emanuel Almendras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bruno Carciofo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Almendras got free with Bruno Carciofo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastián Dell´Orto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Borrelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute, Máximo Cumplido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Almendras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Carciofo having to interfere. Lucero Smith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Bruno Carciofo made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Di Matteo came free, but Sebastián Dell´Orto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Almendras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Carciofo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Cesate's Bruno Carciofo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Cesate from getting a goal against them. Máximo Cumplido was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Tabalongo AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Marcos Soffia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 90 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's Emanuel Almendras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Carciofo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Emanuel Almendras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
