The Tabalongo AFC fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Tabalongo AFC's Marcos Soffia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 19 played minutes TibaDons got a freekick which was hit by Grant Cornish. In the 23rd minute of the match, Rick Postolan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastián Dell´Orto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 24 minutes of play, Tabalongo AFC's Marcos Soffia made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ollie Clark was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eber Larralde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ollie Clark having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tabalongo AFC's Emanuel Almendras got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ollie Clark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eber Larralde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ollie Clark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Almendras in the 36th minute of the match. Lucero Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to TibaDons getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Stan Hewitt hit a great ball. With a little luck, TibaDons's Ollie Clark got control of the ball when Emanuel Almendras tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Raúl Pinuer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When César Larraechea came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Tabalongo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Larraechea couldn't finish the play. Marcos Soffia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ollie Clark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eber Larralde in the 70th minute of play. Ollie Clark came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Tabalongo AFC's Eber Larralde. But to his dismay, Eber Larralde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Ollie Clark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eber Larralde, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Eber Larralde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ollie Clark was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Ollie Clark stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eber Larralde's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Sebastián Dell´Orto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Cornish in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to TibaDons getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rick Postolan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in TibaDons's zone, Eber Larralde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ollie Clark came out of the goal and Eber Larralde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to TibaDons getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Stan Hewitt hit a great ball. Luke Cooke hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Eber Larralde was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Tabalongo AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ollie Clark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eber Larralde in the 95th minute of play. Tabalongo AFC played a much better game than TibaDons and deserved their victory. The TibaDons players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
