Walmyr Pinho made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when José Pedro Vides sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves José Pedro Vides could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Walmyr Pinho however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to MALAIA FDFDF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Luís Fernando Sampaio hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match MALAIA FDFDF got a corner. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adelino Freitas ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edson Araújo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walmyr Pinho saved MALAIA FDFDF from getting behind. Luisinho Ramalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walmyr Pinho having to make a save. Walmyr Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edson Araújo in the 22nd minute. Edson Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Pinho having to interfere. When MALAIA FDFDF's Maurinho Soeiro in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's goalie prevented a goal. In the 29th minute, Edson Araújo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Pinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edson Araújo in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walmyr Pinho saved MALAIA FDFDF from getting behind. After 37 minutes MALAIA FDFDF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno-Henrique Corsi who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bruno-Henrique Corsi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Walmyr Pinho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dé Souza came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by MALAIA FDFDF's José Maria Rosa. But to his dismay, José Maria Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. José Maria Rosa's late challenge caught a Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Maria Rosa helped the player get up and apologised. José Maria Rosa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Edson Araújo made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Luisinho Ramalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walmyr Pinho was relentless in the 50th minute of the game. Walmyr Pinho came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's Chicão Guedes. But to his dismay, Chicão Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Maurinho Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Souza having to interfere. A collision led to MALAIA FDFDF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. José Maria Rosa hit a great ball. Ademir Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ademir Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, MALAIA FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Gomes to maneuver through the defense. MALAIA FDFDF's José Maria Rosa got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered José Maria Rosa off the ground. Luisinho Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Edson Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walmyr Pinho was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 70th minute, Luisinho Ramalho made a precise shot to the right of Walmyr Pinho. MALAIA FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 75th minute, Luisinho Ramalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Pinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. If José Pedro Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG booed when MALAIA FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emerson da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe da Mata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walmyr Pinho. MALAIA FDFDF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Chicão Guedes notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of MALAIA FDFDF's Walmyr Pinho. Walmyr Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eriberto Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson Araújo in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walmyr Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walmyr Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Guedes in the 94th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Chicão Guedes notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of MALAIA FDFDF's Walmyr Pinho. Walmyr Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
