After a defensive mix-up in Sakálok's zone, Edwin Sjöberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Szabolcs Szélesi came out of the goal and Edwin Sjöberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Hägglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Domonkos in the 9th minute of play. Sakálok's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olivér Harsányi in the 10th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Szabolcs Szélesi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Szabolcs Szélesi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Sjöberg in the 25th minute of the match. Onsala Ass Kickers's Edwin Sjöberg got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivér Harsányi in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes Onsala Ass Kickers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olivér Harsányi who took care of the corner kick. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sakálok! Szabolcs Szélesi had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Uggstedt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Axel Uggstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Szabolcs Szélesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szabolcs Szélesi having to interfere. If Kåre Bruhn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th match minute, Sakálok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Holzhauser to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoltán Borsó got free with Thomas Hägglund in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernő Szél kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thomas Hägglund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Zoltán Borsó took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Thomas Hägglund to make any attempt to save it. Szabolcs Szélesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Sjöberg in the 95th minute of play.
