Edwin Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demetrio Borrelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute Edwin Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Carciofo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ennio Grasso struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Thomas Hägglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cesate. 13 minutes into the match, Cesate's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Sjöberg came free, but Bruno Carciofo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Valler got free with Bruno Carciofo in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th match minute, Onsala Ass Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Pihlwall to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper Thomas Hägglund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Borrelli in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, one of Cesate:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cesate. Cesate:s Bruno Carciofo showed great skill when he stopped Filip Valler:s penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as Edwin Sjöberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Carciofo. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. A collision led to Onsala Ass Kickers getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Filip Valler hit a great ball. Edwin Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edwin Sjöberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Carciofo could save by the left post. Edwin Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 43 minutes into the match, Cesate's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Sjöberg came free, but Bruno Carciofo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Carciofo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Ennio Grasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Valler to make the kick off. Carlo Cirulli hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Eraldo Di Matteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Thomas Hägglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Borrelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Hägglund having to interfere. Bruno Carciofo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Sjöberg in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Edwin Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Carciofo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesate's Eraldo Di Matteo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Carciofo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Valler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper Thomas Hägglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demetrio Borrelli. In the 70th minute Edwin Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Carciofo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Carciofo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Edwin Sjöberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Carciofo having to make a save. Cesate's Bruno Carciofo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Sjöberg in the 74th minute of play. Edwin Sjöberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Carciofo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Sjöberg ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the match, Cesate's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Sjöberg came free, but Bruno Carciofo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cesate booed when Onsala Ass Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Biörkquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Hägglund came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Cesate's Eraldo Di Matteo. But to his dismay, Eraldo Di Matteo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The Cesate players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Onsala Ass Kickers from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
