Marco Leoni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of LA MAQUINA F.C booed when Icoara Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Icoara Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Beltran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Vander in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Chumo in the 19th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Aírton de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Icoara Football Club's Genílson de Queirós seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Genílson de Queirós the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Icoara Football Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Genílson de Queirós had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 21st minute, Genílson de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Alberto Otamendi missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 22 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Aírton de Amorim right hand side. Bernardino Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséas Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Leoni came free, but Aírton de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Icoara Football Club's Aírton de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Chumo in the 31st minute of play. Aírton de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Chumo in the 32nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Marco Leoni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aírton de Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. Leonardo Chumo in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aírton de Amorim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Aírton de Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 44th minute Leonardo Chumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Leoni came free, but Aírton de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, LA MAQUINA F.C's Marco Leoni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.
The wind increased when Evaristo Recife made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Icoara Football Club defense, Leonardo Chumo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aírton de Amorim. The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aírton de Amorim should have stopped the shot. After 61 minutes of play, LA MAQUINA F.C's Leonardo Chumo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aírton de Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th match minute, Icoara Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Aírton de Amorim came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by LA MAQUINA F.C's Basilio Azevedo. But to his dismay, Basilio Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Oséas Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icoara Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséas Vander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Beltran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Icoara Football Club's Clemente de Lara got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Mamat Marasabessy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aírton de Amorim. Icoara Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mamat Marasabessy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Aírton de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Basilio Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, LA MAQUINA F.C's Mamat Marasabessy got a free kick in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Basilio Azevedo notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Icoara Football Club's Aírton de Amorim. Aírton de Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Augusto Moraes hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Mamat Marasabessy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aírton de Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0.
