The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernesto Coelho scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arsen Sulaberidze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Haridades F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Davit Andrzheevskiy came free, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsen Sulaberidze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Dracena in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Moisés Dracena notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC TSKALSADENI's Arsen Sulaberidze. Arsen Sulaberidze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the FC TSKALSADENI defense, Luís Eduardo Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsen Sulaberidze. The FC TSKALSADENI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsen Sulaberidze should have stopped the shot. Arsen Sulaberidze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Souza in the 45th minute of play. Haridades F.C's Ronaldinho Pernambucano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Haridades F.C from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Moisés Dracena made the kick off in the second half. Luís Eduardo Souza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arsen Sulaberidze firmly grabbed it by the left post. Beka Torotadze charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beka Torotadze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes FC TSKALSADENI got a freekick which was hit by Beka Torotadze. Djojiki Burduli kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davit Andrzheevskiy in the 69th minute of play forced Haridades F.C's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Haridades F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Irakli Arveladze came free, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Haridades F.C defense, Davit Andrzheevskiy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldinho Pernambucano. The Haridades F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldinho Pernambucano should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FC TSKALSADENI getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Davit Andrzheevskiy hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Davit Andrzheevskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Davit Andrzheevskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 83 minutes of play FC TSKALSADENI's Djojiki Burduli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Luís Eduardo Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arsen Sulaberidze read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play.
