Ion Chificeac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Urtungo in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Alex Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afriz Cheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ion Chificeac had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Gino Custódio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Erosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Salim Adas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ricardo Erosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Salim Adas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The De Boedo Vengo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alex Team had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
