Kristopher Dennison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Melgarejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Pepsi Fuchibol Clu booed when Pardubice Hurricanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lubomír Douša in the 32nd minute of play forced Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's goalkeeper Israel Peña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristopher Dennison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Kristopher Dennison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 78th minute, Cosme Abecia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pardubice Hurricanes's zone, Jorge Abar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristopher Dennison came out of the goal and Jorge Abar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's Israel Peña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Božek in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match, César Melgarejo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kristopher Dennison saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 95th match minute, Pepsi Fuchibol Clu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo-Martin Facon to maneuver through the defense. When Fidel Abaurre fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pepsi Fuchibol Clu's protests and gave Fidel Abaurre a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pepsi Fuchibol Clu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pardubice Hurricanes had won after a very even match.
