Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arturo De Vito got the match started through his kick off. Róbert Jánosi kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Jánosi came free, but Beppe Savoia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Iacovella in the 15th minute of play forced Margarita's goalkeeper Gavino Olo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Capasso. A hard shot by Higinio Urti from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Beppe Savoia's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cesare Cinalli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gavino Olo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesare Cinalli charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesare Cinalli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Carloforte f.c. from getting a goal against them. Róbert Jánosi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Beppe Savoia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cesare Cinalli kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of Carloforte f.c. booed when Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Hever didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Arturo De Vito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Armin Scotti. In the 42nd minute of the match Higinio Urti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beppe Savoia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marciano Sancho's late challenge caught a Carloforte f.c.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marciano Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Marciano Sancho got a free kick in the 44th minute. Alessandro Iacovella kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Carloforte f.c. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Róbert Jánosi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Carloforte f.c.'s Arturo De Vito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gavino Olo. Gavino Olo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 54th minute, Amedeo Orioli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo De Vito who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Gavino Olo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gavino Olo made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Arturo De Vito sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Margarita booed when Carloforte f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bianco Mannucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Margarita's Santiago Jatsu pulled a muscle in his leg after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 74 minutes, Amedeo Orioli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carloforte f.c. and the Margarita players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Orioli. Beppe Savoia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Urti in the 79th minute of play. Gavino Olo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Iacovella in the 83rd minute of the match. Gavino Olo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo De Vito in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo De Vito got free with Gavino Olo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milan Lanzhev's late challenge caught a Margarita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milan Lanzhev helped the player get up and apologised. 94 minutes into the match, Margarita's Higinio Urti broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. During the 95th minute of the match Cesare Cinalli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cesare Cinalli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Although Margarita had been in control for most of the match, Carloforte f.c. still came away with the win.
