In the 6th minute, Taquaral Campineiro's Geraldo de Godoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcel Noica. Marcel Noica yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Fc S.Zaharesti's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo de Godoi came free, but Marcel Noica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Fc S.Zaharesti got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Moisil. The supporters of Taquaral Campineiro booed when Fc S.Zaharesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Petrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Noica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geraldo de Godoi in the 20th minute. Donato Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Donato Guerra hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geraldo de Godoi got free with Marcel Noica in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Geraldo de Godoi notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fc S.Zaharesti's Marcel Noica. Marcel Noica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcel Noica stood somewhat misplaced when Geraldo de Godoi came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. The supporters of Fc S.Zaharesti booed when Taquaral Campineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo de Godoi in the 40th minute of play forced Fc S.Zaharesti's goalkeeper Marcel Noica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Fc S.Zaharesti got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Moisil. Marcel Noica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Guerra in the 45th minute. In the 45th minute, Viorel Lelescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Antunes got free with Marcel Noica in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 48 minutes Fc S.Zaharesti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Donato Guerra who took care of the corner kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Geraldo de Godoi made the kick off in the second half. Fc S.Zaharesti's Marcel Noica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Antunes in the 52nd minute of play. Marcel Noica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Steven in the 54th minute of play. Marcel Noica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Steven in the 60th minute of the match. Donato Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marcel Noica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Fc S.Zaharesti's Blair McCormick threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viorel Lelescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Taquaral Campineiro's Geraldo de Godoi got a free kick in the 75th minute. Geraldo de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Geraldo de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Noica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Cornel Moisil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Fc S.Zaharesti's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Teixeira came free, but Marcel Noica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Steven struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Marcel Noica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taquaral Campineiro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geraldo de Godoi in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Noica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcel Noica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Antunes in the 97th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Taquaral Campineiro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
