Spectators: 7561 (Terracing: 5672, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Geraldo de Godoi took the kick off in the first half of the match. Blair McCormick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abidin Onar went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sérgio Urbano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 9th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zé Paulo Vergílio. Albino Steven's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sérgio Urbano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Blair McCormick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Qvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that John Torsberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Blair McCormick quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. LA VIOLA's Aron Bank got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sérgio Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Antunes in the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Charles Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taquaral Campineiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA VIOLA the free kick. Charles Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Blair McCormick was a little too slow when Adam Qvarnström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-2. Albino Steven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sérgio Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Taquaral Campineiro's Blair McCormick got control of the ball when Abidin Onar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Ståhlman to maneuver through the defense. Adam Qvarnström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Sílvio Luiz Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute Charles Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Abidin Onar got a free kick in the 89th minute. When Taquaral Campineiro's Geraldo de Godoi in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LA VIOLA's goalie prevented a goal. Adam Qvarnström might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blair McCormick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Qvarnström ran back to his position shaking his head. Abidin Onar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Blair McCormick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Adam Qvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
