The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 14th match minute, Sportivo Mela Banco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cortez Obispo to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Sauveur's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes Stars Academy got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Sobral. A collision led to Sportivo Mela Banco getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Denis Edur hit a great ball. After 21 minutes, Fausto Eguzki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Mela Banco and the Stars Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Sportivo Mela Banco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Eguzki to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Carneiro was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Filiberto Sauveur capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filiberto Sauveur really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Máximo Baía kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Evelio Enaut kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Sportivo Mela Banco getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Simon Isusko hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Perdigão came free, but Jeremias Bitxintxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Filiberto Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 45 minutes Stars Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fausto Eguzki who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Fausto Eguzki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Carneiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 46th minute, Simon Isusko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Jeremias Bitxintxo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Américo Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. When Sportivo Mela Banco's Filiberto Sauveur in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stars Academy's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Sauveur in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Carneiro saved Stars Academy from getting behind. Miguel Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Miguel Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Sauveur's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Herminio Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute of the match Sportivo Mela Banco got a corner. Stars Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fausto Eguzki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Sportivo Mela Banco's Denis Edur getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Santo in the 69th minute of play forced Stars Academy's goalkeeper Miguel Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stars Academy's zone, Herminio Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Carneiro came out of the goal and Herminio Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 played minutes Sportivo Mela Banco got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Eguzki. In the 77th match minute, Sportivo Mela Banco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cortez Obispo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Sauveur in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Carneiro saved Stars Academy from getting behind. Sportivo Mela Banco's Domingo Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herminio Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Evelio Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Santo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Miguel Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Mela Banco. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Sauveur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Carneiro was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
