Vahdet Seyran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes Itajaí Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Abreu. 10 minutes into the game, Luís Paulo de Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itajaí Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆ the free kick. In the 10th minute, Luís Paulo de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Luís Fabiano Corrêa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itajaí Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Yetkin Bedel came free, but Christiano Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vahdet Seyran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Göksel Tümkan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christiano Cearense, 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, Abdi Saygın Akbatu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christiano Cearense, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Göksel Tümkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆'s supporters rose to their feet, but Göksel Tümkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christiano Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Yetkin Bedel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdi Saygın Akbatu made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göksel Tümkan in the 57th minute of play forced Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper Christiano Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Itajaí Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Saygın Akbatu came free, but Christiano Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itajaí Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆'s goalkeeper Vahdet Seyran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jailson de Senna. ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆ were furious when Orhan Veli Akçasu was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆! In the 98th minute, Itajaí Football Club's Luís Paulo de Castro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Itajaí Football Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
