Florian Jandryca hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Valdemar Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Rasiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Valle took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucjan Rasiak. Lucjan Rasiak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lucjan Rasiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Travassos in the 17th minute of the match. Czeslaw Penczkowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and José Vítor Ramos could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Victoria Września's Zygmunt Jajecznica got a free kick in the 28th minute. Lucjan Rasiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Victoria Września's Radowit Burdzel got a free kick in the 38th minute. Arlindo Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Lucjan Rasiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Czeslaw Penczkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but José Vítor Ramos made a huge save. Grêmio Prudente's José Vítor Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Prudente from getting a goal against them. Lucjan Rasiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Luz in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Valle was the one to do the kick off. Victoria Września's Lucjan Rasiak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Victoria Września from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Valdemar Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucjan Rasiak was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 55 played minutes Grêmio Prudente got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Travassos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Valle in the 59th minute of play forced Victoria Września's goalkeeper Lucjan Rasiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Victoria Września's goalkeeper Lucjan Rasiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arlindo Luz. Lucjan Rasiak was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Arlindo Luz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arlindo Luz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Lucjan Rasiak made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Arlindo Luz sent off a good shot on target. Victoria Września's Florian Jandryca got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Prudente's Arlindo Luz got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Czeslaw Penczkowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Vítor Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Arlindo Luz took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucjan Rasiak. Lucjan Rasiak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After 89 minutes, Zygmunt Jajecznica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Victoria Września and the Grêmio Prudente players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute Radowit Burdzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Czeslaw Penczkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Vítor Ramos. Grêmio Prudente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Czeslaw Penczkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Grêmio Prudente's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
