The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Quico got free with Humberto Sotero in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Humberto Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Jon in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SuperChango's Eulalio Sotero got a free kick in the 11th minute. Marlin FC's Arnaldo Darien couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SuperChango. In the 15th match minute, SuperChango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Unax to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Nereo Henry kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Humberto Sotero. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Guaberto Quico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Humberto Sotero made a huge save. Ambrosio Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A collision led to SuperChango getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Eulalio Sotero hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Derwin came free, but Humberto Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Nereo Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marlin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Henry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Sotero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, SuperChango's Humberto Sotero got control of the ball when Nereo Henry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marlin FC's Ignacio Derwin suffered a sore thigh after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Venancio Mikelar during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marlin FC's Tadeo Gilesindo was substituted for Ignacio Derwin. Guaberto Quico came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Humberto Sotero could save by the left post. 41 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goalkeeper Humberto Sotero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Henry. In the 44th minute of the match, Nereo Henry got a very nice opportunity to score, but Humberto Sotero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. SuperChango's Humberto Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Gilesindo in the 47th minute of play. Humberto Sotero was a little too slow when Guaberto Quico got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casimiro Bihar was the one to do the kick off. Humberto Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Quico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Jon to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Nereo Henry had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Sotero. SuperChango's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nereo Henry was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 71 minutes of play, Marlin FC's Domingo Jon made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Sotero was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Marlin FC booed when SuperChango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Bihar didn't get a good kick on the ball. SuperChango's Humberto Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Gilesindo in the 76th minute of play. Humberto Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Gilesindo in the 77th minute of the match. Nereo Henry hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Tadeo Gilesindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99th minute, Pablo Orti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Sotero was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marlin FC had played much better football throughout.
