Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Aleksander Bykowski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 13 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goalkeeper Arturo Boruc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Merūnas Urbelis. After having played for 19 minutes, Franciszek Wicherek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gortaty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franciszek Wicherek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Vladas Drakul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Skrzypiec in the 29th minute of play forced FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's goalkeeper Raimondas Bitėnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Gortaty were awarded a corner. Aleksander Bykowski went to the cornerflag to take it. Raimondas Bitėnas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Bykowski in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes, Aleksander Bykowski made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Raimondas Bitėnas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 37 minutes, Tautrimas Gabriūnas made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gortaty's Arturo Boruc tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 minutes Gortaty's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gediminas Tavoras who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Tauras Gasiūnas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 43rd minute, Aleksander Bykowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimondas Bitėnas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 45th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Chrzan to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tautrimas Gabriūnas to strike the kick off in the second half. Arturo Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tauras Gasiūnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Franciszek Wicherek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gortaty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franciszek Wicherek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Merūnas Urbelis came free, but Arturo Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 61 played minutes FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI got a freekick which was hit by Liudvikas Tiškus. When Franciszek Wicherek fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gortaty's protests and gave Franciszek Wicherek a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gortaty getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Franciszek Wicherek hit a great ball. Gortaty's Arturo Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tauras Gasiūnas in the 65th minute of play. Raimondas Bitėnas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Bykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The supporters of Gortaty booed when FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agatas Plakys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimondas Bitėnas came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski. But to his dismay, Aleksander Bykowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franciszek Wicherek got free with Raimondas Bitėnas in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gortaty's Arturo Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tauras Gasiūnas in the 81st minute of play. Czeslaw Skrzypiec kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tautrimas Gabriūnas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Boruc was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the game, Tautrimas Gabriūnas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Arturo Boruc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Gortaty players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
