Spectators: 7569 (Terracing: 5678, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aleksander Bykowski took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Gortaty getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Franciszek Wicherek hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Aleksander Bykowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Esen Ağın. The goal made the score 1-0. After 19 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Basaik. After 20 played minutes, F.C internazionale's Şenel Çetinel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arturo Boruc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C internazionale reached it. Esen Ağın made an important save on a dangerous shot by Czeslaw Skrzypiec in the 22nd minute. Esen Ağın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Bykowski in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Franciszek Wicherek put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Esen Ağın. In the 39th minute, Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Aleksander Bykowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esen Ağın. F.C internazionale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aleksander Bykowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egemen Adıbelli was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asım Ergümen in the 51st minute of play forced Gortaty's goalkeeper Arturo Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gortaty's Czeslaw Skrzypiec got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gortaty booed when F.C internazionale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emin Kuray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esen Ağın came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski. But to his dismay, Aleksander Bykowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 63rd minute, Aleksander Bykowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esen Ağın was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 68th minute, Aleksander Bykowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gortaty fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. When Şenel Çetinel fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C internazionale's protests and gave Şenel Çetinel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th minute, Şenel Çetinel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes, Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esen Ağın came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. In the 87th minute Aleksander Bykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esen Ağın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franciszek Wicherek during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gortaty's Franciszek Wicherek got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute Asım Ergümen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gortaty had won after a very even match.
