Cafu Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Arturo Boruc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisão Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Franciszek Wicherek came free, but Luisão Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Remigiusz Kaczynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Boruc made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Germano de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Flamengo CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Gortaty's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robinho Silveira took the corner. The corner ended in Robinho Silveira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gortaty's Arturo Boruc did a great save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frédson Couto to strike the kick off in the second half. Frédson Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Luisão Sabóia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aleksander Bykowski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Luisão Sabóia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 61 minutes into the game, Franciszek Wicherek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luisão Sabóia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Flamengo CIMZ's Dráuzio Amaral got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Gortaty's Aleksander Bykowski in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flamengo CIMZ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68th minute, Grzegorz Wodaszak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson Couto came free, but Arturo Boruc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes Gortaty's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robinho Silveira who took care of the corner kick. Tarcisio Tasso was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Bykowski in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisão Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tarcisio Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match Grzegorz Wodaszak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisão Sabóia skillfully saved the ball. In the 89th minute Aleksander Bykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gortaty's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
