Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Canarinho Atordoado's Percival dos Santos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th play minute Víktor Sarmento came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dênis Matos. 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Fernandinho Urbano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dênis Matos, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Corinthians's Emílio Marquez got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Percival dos Santos came free, but Romeu Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canarinho Atordoado's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henri Martins in the 22nd minute. The corner ended in Igor Cordeiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Corinthians's Romeu Souto did a great save. Pedro Luís Menegatti might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeu Souto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Luís Menegatti ran back to his position shaking his head. When Percival dos Santos fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canarinho Atordoado's protests and gave Percival dos Santos a yellow card for diving instead. When Emílio Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Corinthians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio Marquez couldn't finish the play. Fernandinho Urbano hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Luís Fernando Guedes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Víktor Sarmento might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dênis Matos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Víktor Sarmento ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Luís Menegatti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Souto having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Canarinho Atordoado's Pedro Luís Menegatti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeu Souto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Corinthians's Romeu Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival dos Santos in the 54th minute of play. Canarinho Atordoado's Elivélton Carvalho pulled a muscle in his back after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Víktor Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corinthians's protests and gave Víktor Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. Canarinho Atordoado made a substitution. Jeremias Zanette replaced Elivélton Carvalho. The supporters of Canarinho Atordoado booed when Corinthians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dênis Matos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernandinho Urbano went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Dênis Matos came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians's Víktor Sarmento. But to his dismay, Víktor Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Canarinho Atordoado's Dênis Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandinho Urbano in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Pedro Luís Menegatti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canarinho Atordoado's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luís Menegatti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Souto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dênis Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Sarmento in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Víktor Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, one of Canarinho Atordoado:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Canarinho Atordoado. The referee gave Corinthians a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hudson Sabóia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Canarinho Atordoado's Dênis Matos. 5-1. In the 94th minute, Fernandinho Urbano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dênis Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Dênis Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Renato Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Víktor Sarmento took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dênis Matos. Dênis Matos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Corinthians fully deserved thier win.
