In the 5th match minute, Cabildo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualberto Pinto to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute of the match, Santo Blanco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ricard Campbell was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Alcázar came free, but Ramiro Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Pedro Alcázar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Alcázar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Erasto having to make a save. The supporters of Cabildo FC booed when Los Muchachos del 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Presebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Wilkenson in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Erasto saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. After 25 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Joel Pabla. After 28 minutes, Joel Pabla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Muchachos del 86 and the Cabildo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Muchachos del 86's Joel Pabla got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Pedro Alcázar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Erubiel Presebal hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Cabildo FC's Pedro Alcázar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Erasto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Pedro Alcázar came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Cabildo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Alcázar couldn't finish the play. Ramiro Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Alcázar in the 39th minute of the match. 0-2 became the score in the 43rd minute when Luciano Wilkenson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Los Muchachos del 86 defense, Luciano Wilkenson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Erasto. The Los Muchachos del 86 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Erasto should have stopped the shot.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Pabla to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Los Muchachos del 86's Generoso Abreu got a free kick in the 55th minute. Ramiro Erasto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Alcázar went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Soriano Budinich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erubiel Presebal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Los Muchachos del 86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Presebal to maneuver through the defense. Generoso Abreu's late challenge caught a Cabildo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Muchachos del 86! 79 minutes into the match, Zarpas Serrano notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto. Ramiro Erasto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Luciano Wilkenson came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Cabildo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Wilkenson couldn't finish the play. After 84 minutes, Pedro Alcázar made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Los Muchachos del 86's Ramiro Erasto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Luciano Wilkenson in the 89th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ramiro Erasto kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-7 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Pedro Alcázar took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Ramiro Erasto to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Alcázar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 100 minutes into the game, Pedro Alcázar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramiro Erasto. Pedro Alcázar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-9. Cabildo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
