After a rather tough play, CoolKidzTable's Ingemar Persson got a free kick in the 10th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Wästerberg came free, but Rui Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jan-Erik Bremming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Wästerberg in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Varela saved Grêmio FBPA from getting behind. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grêmio FBPA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lukas Örtendal was slow to take the kick. During this time CoolKidzTable's players had a chance to rest. Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Wästerberg in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Grêmio FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Ramos. Karl-Michael Vestberg kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Armando Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Grêmio FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Andrade couldn't finish the play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Christian Wästerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Vestberg in the 43rd minute of play. Rui Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingemar Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Wästerberg in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Wästerberg made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Edu Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio FBPA and the CoolKidzTable players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Grêmio FBPA's Edu Veiga got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Armando Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldo Ramos struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jan-Erik Bremming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio FBPA. 79 minutes into the game, CoolKidzTable's Filiph Åkerberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 82nd play minute Christian Wästerberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rui Varela. 0-2. After some careless play in the Grêmio FBPA defense, Christian Wästerberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Varela. The Grêmio FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Varela should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela got control of the ball when Christian Wästerberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, CoolKidzTable's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Andrade came free, but Jan-Erik Bremming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Silvinho Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio FBPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvinho Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Erik Bremming breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The CoolKidzTable supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CoolKidzTable would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
