The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas-Jan Rouvoet got free with József Bozsik in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vérsárkány SE were furious when György Pataky was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 30 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by György Pataky. József Bozsik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Demeester in the 32nd minute of the match. József Bozsik was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Alexandre Demeester capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandre Demeester really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre Demeester kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving József Bozsik. That made the score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. The supporters of real dixmuda booed when Vérsárkány SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sándor Czakó didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as real dixmuda's Gustaaf Vrins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of József Bozsik. That made the score 6-0 after 45 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedek Soós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Demeester's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but József Bozsik was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. József Bozsik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Demeester went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, Vérsárkány SE's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas-Jan Rouvoet came free, but József Bozsik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 played minutes Vérsárkány SE got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Bács. József Bozsik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didier Lingier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. József Bozsik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Demeester went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. József Bozsik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Demeester, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Berten Sommers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but József Bozsik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Vérsárkány SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Kárpáti to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Lajos Kárpáti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vérsárkány SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Lajos Kárpáti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerard Verhaghe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the real dixmuda players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
