The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Crimson Knights booed when MKS MŁAWA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Mochadlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Robt Sanford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan Chowaniec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robt Sanford's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. A hard shot by Tolek Mochadlo from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Gerald Singletary's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Crimson Knights getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jayden Mcgirr hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Crimson Knights's Jerome Laforest tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jan Chowaniec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robt Sanford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Crimson Knights getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jayden Mcgirr hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Robt Sanford left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crimson Knights fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariusz Mroczynski to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Robt Sanford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Chowaniec was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 59th minute Robt Sanford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Chowaniec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match Crimson Knights got a corner. MKS MŁAWA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 89th minute Robt Sanford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Chowaniec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Crimson Knights's Jan Chowaniec threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robt Sanford, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
