But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Batista couldn't finish the play. Evaristo Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 莫平正, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Mateusz Fudalej could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Evaristo Siqueira made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ediberto Recife during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Floripa Lions FSCMZ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ediberto Recife hit a great ball. When Erik Schmidt fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Floripa Lions FSCMZ's protests and gave Erik Schmidt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Erik Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 莫平正 scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Siqueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mateusz Fudalej sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateusz Fudalej recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélder Prestes's late challenge caught a FC Grodzka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Prestes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Grodzka booed when Floripa Lions FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match, 莫平正 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Evaristo Siqueira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Floripa Lions FSCMZ's zone, Benedykt Majorski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Siqueira came out of the goal and Benedykt Majorski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Evaristo Siqueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Floripa Lions FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. André Luiz Proença hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Batista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Grodzka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raúl Guimarães was slow to take the kick. During this time Floripa Lions FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Raúl Guimarães made a great header on Floripa Lions FSCMZ's corner, it was just that FC Grodzka's Wincent Drab managed to reach the ball for a save. André Luiz Proença hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 莫平正 might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Siqueira. In the 67th minute, Mateusz Fudalej left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Grodzka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 71 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Wladyslaw Kopacz came free, but Evaristo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 莫平正 in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Floripa Lions FSCMZ booed when FC Grodzka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. 莫平正 didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 莫平正 in the 81st minute of play forced Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Evaristo Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, 莫平正 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Siqueira. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 莫平正 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 莫平正 in the 89th minute of play forced Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Evaristo Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hieronim Zalipski charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hieronim Zalipski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hieronim Zalipski kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the FC Grodzka players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
