Niculae Flamaropol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Luiz Proença could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Niculae Flamaropol made a huge save. With a little luck, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Niculae Flamaropol got control of the ball when Luciano Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niculae Flamaropol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Rossi in the 36th minute of the match. Wincenty Juroszek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Martins came free, but Evaristo Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Hélder Prestes with André Luiz Proença as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The throw-in from Pedrão Paranaense in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Bela Estremiana. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adriano Martins was the one to do the kick off. Evaristo Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvadore Sotelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Eduardo do Nascimento, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 55th play minutes Luciano Batista shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Niculae Flamaropol and just under the crossbar into goal. 59 minutes into the game, Adriano Martins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evaristo Siqueira. Adriano Martins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Rodolfo Carrete was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Evaristo Siqueira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adriano Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Evaristo Siqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niculae Flamaropol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dušan Vlahović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Adriano Martins came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Martins couldn't finish the play. Niculae Flamaropol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Batista in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Pedrão Paranaense threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Jaime Batista quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Evaristo Siqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Batista in the 78th minute. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's André Luiz Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, André Luiz Proença had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niculae Flamaropol. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Luiz Proença was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 84th minute, Adriano Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Evaristo Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvadore Sotelo in the 87th minute of play. Evaristo Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Martins in the 91st minute of the match. Niculae Flamaropol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Proença in the 94th minute of the match. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
