Burnley FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Proietti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Alemdar Baykut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Itzaina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roch Hatman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes of play, RÚSTICOS F.C's Alfredo Belgrano made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Falcioni was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th match minute, RÚSTICOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Perico to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Belgrano took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dave Falcioni. Dave Falcioni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 43 minutes into the game, Anacleto Perico cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dave Falcioni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Belgrano to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Bizen kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Fabiano De Bonis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Fabiano De Bonis's late challenge caught a RÚSTICOS F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano De Bonis helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Burnley FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano De Bonis. In the 60th minute, Alfredo Belgrano made a precise shot to the right of Dave Falcioni. Burnley FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Dave Falcioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Telo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Delmar Erramu notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni. Dave Falcioni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute Anacleto Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in RÚSTICOS F.C's zone, Roch Hatman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Itzaina came out of the goal and Roch Hatman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Belgrano in the 80th minute of play. Leon Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dave Falcioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Itzaina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alemdar Baykut in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Jaime Telo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Belgrano in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Belgrano in the 91st minute of play forced Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Perico in the 94th minute of play.
