Spectators: 7440 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 66) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredo Belgrano started the match with the kick off. Rodrigo Itzaina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Bezerra in the 3rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Domingos Lorenz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rodrigo Itzaina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Proson FC booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Perico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertino Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Eder struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Rodrigo Itzaina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Proson FC. Proson FC's Guido Merexildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Belgrano in the 21st minute of play. Rodrigo Itzaina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Eder in the 24th minute. Alfredo Belgrano scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guido Merexildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saturnino Gaskon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Itzaina made a huge save. In the 36th match minute, RÚSTICOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Belgrano to maneuver through the defense. When Raul Eder came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Proson FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Eder couldn't finish the play. Albertino Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Rodrigo Itzaina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Proson FC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albertino Bezerra was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, RÚSTICOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Eder came free, but Rodrigo Itzaina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Proson FC's Guido Merexildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Proson FC from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Alfredo Belgrano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Merexildo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Guido Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Perico in the 79th minute of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Proson FC's goalkeeper Guido Merexildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led RÚSTICOS F.C's Artemio Luzaide to fire away a dangerous shot which Guido Merexildo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Proson FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
