In the 24th minute, Leo Paskal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guido Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Paskal in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Blai in the 34th minute of play forced Proson FC's goalkeeper Guido Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Claudio Hondo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guido Merexildo. Proson FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Hondo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The supporters of Proson FC booed when San Martin de Tucuman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Atarrabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Albertino Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Albertino Bezerra, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Celedonio Peruxu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Narciso Tabby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Proson FC and the San Martin de Tucuman players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Flavio Blai was the one to do the kick off. Celedonio Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Eder in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Bezerra in the 60th minute of play forced San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Celedonio Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Albertino Bezerra made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Peruxu. San Martin de Tucuman's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. San Martin de Tucuman made a substitution. Jonathan Victoro replaced Esteban Bitxintxo. With a little luck, Proson FC's Guido Merexildo got control of the ball when Blas Oxarra tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, Proson FC's Raul Eder made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blas Oxarra hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Marco Gimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Zé Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Proson FC's goalkeeper Guido Merexildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Blai.
