Marcos Leal started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Austra 04 VFC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Luís Fábio do Valle hit a great ball. Charles Knapp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cascade Park West booed when Austra 04 VFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Charles Knapp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Charles Knapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 16th minute Róbson Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Knapp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match Austra 04 VFC got a corner. Cascade Park West's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evandro Vidal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kitt Pegov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leif Engle's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Charles Knapp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Róbson Garcia. In the 25th minute, Téo de Salles made a precise shot to the right of Charles Knapp. Cascade Park West's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With an all-out effort, Austra 04 VFC's Charles Knapp threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Róbson Garcia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbson Garcia in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Knapp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charles Knapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbson Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Charles Knapp came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Austra 04 VFC's Róbson Garcia. But to his dismay, Róbson Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 44th match minute, Austra 04 VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Austra 04 VFC made a substitution. Cauã Costa replaced Bruno de Castro. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Róbson Garcia was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's Marcos Leal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kitt Pegov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Róbson Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Knapp was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbson Garcia in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Knapp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Garcia came free, but Charles Knapp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cascade Park West getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Marcos Leal hit a great ball. Austra 04 VFC's Rony Nunes was substituted for Téo de Salles. After 68 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Leal. Cauã Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Knapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Nunes in the 77th minute of play. Cascade Park West's Charles Knapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Garcia in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Austra 04 VFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cauã Costa hit a great ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Róbson Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cascade Park West's Charles Knapp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Miguel Bertassi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Knapp. Cascade Park West's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Bertassi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, Austra 04 VFC could leave the field as winners, despite Cascade Park West having more of the ball for most of the match.
