After 3 minutes, Paulão Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G.E. Juventus FSCMZ and the Caskinha Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Paulão Fernandez got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 14th minute Fernando Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umberto França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulão Fernandez got his second yellow card in the match during the 23rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Paulão Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Fernando Toscano struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Umberto França didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for G.E. Juventus FSCMZ. G.E. Juventus FSCMZ's Cleiton Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Cardoso in the 39th minute of play. Fernando Toscano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umberto França read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juarês Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Toscano got free with Umberto França in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Juarês Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caskinha Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Juarês Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleiton Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kauã Silva made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Delfim Capixaba. 67 minutes into the match, Caskinha Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Umberto França had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Toscano. Umberto França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Dito de Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Umberto França was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dito de Sennas short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Umberto França to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Umberto França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Caskinha Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded G.E. Juventus FSCMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caskinha Esporte Clube.
