In the 4th minute, Reynaldo Weterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 9 in the game by Godofredo Benitez from a close distance when the talented Betão Paulista managed to make a qualified save. FC Barrera 2.0's players were relieved. In the last second Betão Paulista throw himself and got hold of the ball when Santo Cutberto in the 11thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Viento Norte FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricardo Ciceron in the 13th minute. Viento Norte FC's Zeledon Dalmau was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Betão Paulista in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Betão Paulista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Benitez in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute Valério Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Barrera 2.0 getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Joaquim Matos hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Ricardo Ciceron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valério Xavier scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Sendoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Viento Norte FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Raul Sidoro hit a great ball. Viento Norte FC's David Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleiton Furtado in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Viento Norte FC's Godofredo Benitez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Gerson Berger took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Sendoa. David Sendoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 48 minutes, Cleiton Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barrera 2.0's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleiton Furtado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Viento Norte FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Barrera 2.0 were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Valério Xavier made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, FC Barrera 2.0's Cleiton Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Sendoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 62 minutes of play, FC Barrera 2.0's Valério Xavier made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Sendoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gerson Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Santo Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viento Norte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Cutberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the game, FC Barrera 2.0's Diguinho de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Sendoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. David Sendoa came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Barrera 2.0's Cleiton Furtado. But to his dismay, Cleiton Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 82 minutes into the match, Valério Xavier notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Viento Norte FC's David Sendoa. David Sendoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Virgílio Montenegro hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Viento Norte FC booed when FC Barrera 2.0 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Viento Norte FC's goalkeeper David Sendoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute Godofredo Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
