Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Santo Cutberto kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Denis Nenciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Nenciu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Viento Norte FC booed when Delphine Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Ciorăscu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Costică Ciorăscu fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Delphine Stars's protests and gave Costică Ciorăscu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costică Ciorăscu to maneuver through the defense. Godofredo Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Ţopescu having to interfere. Mugur Gorcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Delphine Stars's Denis Nenciu got a free kick in the 20th minute. Mugur Gorcea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Godofredo Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viento Norte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Benitez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petruț Ţopescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 played minutes Delphine Stars got a freekick which was hit by Emil Rădoi. 38 minutes into the match, Delphine Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Cutberto came free, but Petruț Ţopescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Delphine Stars's Emil Rădoi got a free kick in the 39th minute. Viento Norte FC's Ricardo Ciceron got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Viento Norte FC's zone, Costel Cobzeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Sendoa came out of the goal and Costel Cobzeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Emanuel Tiberiu hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cristian Dorian hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Viento Norte FC's Santo Cutberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petruț Ţopescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Emil Rădoi got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience was convinced that Mugur Gorcea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Sendoa was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Cristian Dorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mugur Gorcea might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Sendoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mugur Gorcea ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mugur Gorcea came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Delphine Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugur Gorcea couldn't finish the play. David Sendoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Cobzeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viento Norte FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
