The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Sendoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Aurre in the 15th minute. Jairo Vergaray's late challenge caught a chacarita juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Vergaray helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Viento Norte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Vergaray to maneuver through the defense. Godofredo Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Leoiar having to interfere. Nestor Abilio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Sendoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. David Sendoa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Victor Aurre sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Viento Norte FC's goalkeeper David Sendoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Aimar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Aurre in the 31st minute of play forced Viento Norte FC's goalkeeper David Sendoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Aimar struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. David Sendoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for chacarita juniors. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Benitez in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Leoiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute Nestor Abilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match chacarita juniors got a corner. Viento Norte FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Aurre ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 47th minute, Victor Aurre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd match minute, chacarita juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Claus to maneuver through the defense. David Sendoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Viento Norte FC's David Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Ermano in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Victor Aurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, chacarita juniors's goalkeeper Zacarias Leoiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Benitez. Viento Norte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave chacarita juniors the free kick. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Viento Norte FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Aurre was slow to take the kick. During this time chacarita juniors's players had a chance to rest. Evelio Ermano hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, chacarita juniors's Apolo Hondo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ricardo Ciceron struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Zacarias Leoiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viento Norte FC. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. chacarita juniors fully deserved thier win.
