ΟΦΗ's Theofanis Marinakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Xavier in the 3rd minute of play. Giannis Tzanetos hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Cordeiro in the 4th minute of play forced ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Theofanis Marinakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Babbis Prokoss short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Betão Paulista to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of FC Barrera 2.0 booed when ΟΦΗ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themis Seitaridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Nuno Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theofanis Marinakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, FC Barrera 2.0's Valério Xavier made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Theofanis Marinakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Theofanis Marinakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Cordeiro went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Theofanis Marinakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A nice corner shot did that Joaquim Matos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Theofanis Marinakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Valério Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikos Kalkavouras in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Betão Paulista, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of ΟΦΗ booed when FC Barrera 2.0 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theofanis Marinakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Cordeiro in the 42nd minute of play. Valério Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Xavier came free, but Theofanis Marinakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nikos Kalkavouras was the one to do the kick off. Nuno Cordeiros short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Theofanis Marinakis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the last second Theofanis Marinakis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Valério Xavier in the 69thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. FC Barrera 2.0 were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after ΟΦΗ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquim Matos took the corner. The corner led to FC Barrera 2.0's Gerson Berger getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Nikos Kalkavouras got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Nuno Cordeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theofanis Marinakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Cordeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Cordeiro got free with Theofanis Marinakis in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonis Papagrigoriou hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Nuno Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Marinakis having to interfere. FC Barrera 2.0's Betão Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Kalkavouras in the 83rd minute of play. Valério Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Marinakis having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Barrera 2.0 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
