Benigno Sabina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Vela, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Boca Juniors's Lorenzo Zurica ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Buinton. Samuel Buinton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Benigno Sabina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Vela in the 13th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Arthur Morgan´s Club got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Mergildo. Samuel Buinton made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Calle Hellström sent off a good shot on target. Samuel Buinton was a little too slow when Calle Hellström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Caton Carballido charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caton Carballido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute of the match Fabian Balendin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Sabina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Arthur Morgan´s Club getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ariel Grigio hit a great ball. Ciriaco Froylan hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A collision led to Arthur Morgan´s Club getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sergio Mergildo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Arthur Morgan´s Club's Samuel Buinton got control of the ball when Orlondo Buendia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Ariel Grigio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Sabina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calle Hellström kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Arthur Morgan´s Club's Haroldo Etxatxu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Sabina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Piotrek Czerniak was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Lorenzo Zurica made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Buinton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Hellström in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Hellström in the 57th minute of play forced Arthur Morgan´s Club's goalkeeper Samuel Buinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Piotrek Czerniak made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Buinton. Arthur Morgan´s Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Calle Hellström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Buinton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Wilfredo Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Sabina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Buinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotrek Czerniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Arthur Morgan´s Club's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Hellström came free, but Samuel Buinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Lorenzo Zurica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Buinton was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 80th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Santos to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Grigio got free with Benigno Sabina in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Ariel Grigio in the 83rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Boca Juniors's Benigno Sabina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Vela in the 86th minute of play. Piotrek Czerniak took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Buinton. Samuel Buinton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. In the 93rd match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Zurica to maneuver through the defense. Arthur Morgan´s Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
