Abdülhak Akar hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Antonis Papagrigoriou's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Suat Şahinkan - 0-1 was put on the score board in the 3rd minute. Recep Balcan's late challenge caught a ΟΦΗ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Recep Balcan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KAOS getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Recep Balcan hit a great ball. Birkan Onat hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, KAOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erdoğan Onuker to maneuver through the defense. KAOS's Suat Şahinkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fanis Kokkinopoulos in the 26th minute of play. Suat Şahinkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nikos Kalkavouras's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Suat Şahinkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Kalkavouras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in KAOS's zone, Nikos Kalkavouras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Suat Şahinkan came out of the goal and Nikos Kalkavouras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of ΟΦΗ booed when KAOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Recep Balcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Nikos Kalkavouras made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekber Afşaroğlu in the 51st minute of play forced ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Theofanis Marinakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bozkurt Özarı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofanis Marinakis having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, KAOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdülhak Akar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to KAOS getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ekber Afşaroğlu hit a great ball. Themis Seitaridis got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Giannis Tzanetos. Birkan Onat charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birkan Onat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ΟΦΗ booed when KAOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birkan Onat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Nikos Kalkavouras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KAOS's Suat Şahinkan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 82 played minutes ΟΦΗ got a freekick which was hit by Sofoklis Stathatos. KAOS's Ekber Afşaroğlu got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Ekber Afşaroğlu off the ground. Ekber Afşaroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Erdoğan Onuker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KAOS and the ΟΦΗ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes KAOS got a freekick which was hit by Erdoğan Onuker. After having played for 93 minutes, Nikos Kalkavouras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΟΦΗ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Kalkavouras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
