Thanks to some nice moves Gürcan Orguntay could shoot a difficult shot in the 2nd minute, which Albérico Vilaverde however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandrino Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arijan Zlatarević was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Osmar Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Albérico Vilaverde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osmar Motta in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Parzysz in the 13th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Albérico Vilaverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gentil Vasques to maneuver through the defense. Hélio Cerqueira hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürcan Orguntay got free with Albérico Vilaverde in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albérico Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Marčić in the 25th minute of play. Zachary Parzysz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Albérico Vilaverde made a huge save. Gürcan Orguntay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélio Cerqueira hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Gürcan Orguntay kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélder Trindade during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Trindade. In the 64th minute of the match Arijan Zlatarević sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albérico Vilaverde skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zachary Parzysz in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albérico Vilaverde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Hugo Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélder Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arijan Zlatarević in the 70th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Albérico Vilaverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arijan Zlatarević hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Albérico Vilaverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Parzysz in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ got a corner. SC Braga's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arijan Zlatarević ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Toni Marčić got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Albérico Vilaverde quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 83 minutes of play, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Osmar Motta made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albérico Vilaverde was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute Zachary Parzysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albérico Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the SC Braga defense, Zachary Parzysz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albérico Vilaverde. The SC Braga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albérico Vilaverde should have stopped the shot. After 96 played minutes GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ got a freekick which was hit by Arijan Zlatarević.
