Zachary Parzysz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 68th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Marčić in the 73rd minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Walter Huarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachary Parzysz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Emad Kovič charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emad Kovič the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emad Kovič didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Astillero del Guayas had held the ball for most of the match.
