Francesco De Lucia scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Llorenc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Simon Llorenc made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ernesto Margoni sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute Kroton F.C. were awarded a corner. Davide Zangari went to the cornerflag to take it. Davide Zangari made a great header on Kroton F.C.'s corner, it was just that Caricancha's Simon Llorenc managed to reach the ball for a save. Simon Llorenc made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Enzo Scacchi sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Caricancha's zone, Ernesto Margoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Llorenc came out of the goal and Ernesto Margoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Kroton F.C.'s Simon Llorenc threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernesto Margoni, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Simon Llorenc was a little too slow when Enzo Scacchi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 39th minute Ernesto Margoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Llorenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Rik kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Davide Zangari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Margoni was the one to do the kick off. Simon Llorenc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Zangari in the 52nd minute of the match. Kroton F.C. were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Caricancha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Davide Zangari took the corner. Enzo Scacchi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of Kroton F.C. booed when Caricancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clinton Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Llorenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Ciarrocchi in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Davide Zangari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Prudencio Goi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Enzo Scacchi made a precise shot to the right of Simon Llorenc. Caricancha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Prudencio Goi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Prudencio Goi's late challenge caught a Kroton F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prudencio Goi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caricancha getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Prudencio Goi hit a great ball. Kroton F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
