Romário do Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Nel's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. If Otávio Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Dante in the 17th minute of play forced Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Felipe Guzman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Otávio Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Guzman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Delmiro Mambru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romário do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Gabon in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Atletico Calamar Saavedra booed when Lea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Poalelungi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Maximo Gabon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Gabon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lea FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Maximo Gabon scored to the left of an out of position Romário do Valle, making the score, 1-0. Lea FC's Romário do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Lea FC from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute of the match Lea FC got a corner. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hugo Bastos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Diguinho Diniz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felipe Guzman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hugo Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Romário do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Nel in the 52nd minute of the match. Hugo Bastos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Lea FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lea FC's Romário do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jørgen Waage in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lea FC's Adalberto Gaspar got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Lea FC's Otávio Dante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Guzman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abel Galo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Lea FC were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Atletico Calamar Saavedra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugo Bastos took the corner. Romário do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Gabon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lea FC's Leontin Poalelungi got a free kick in the 78th minute. Basilio Rioja kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Felipe Guzman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
