Isaias Eguerdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Romeo Hizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Worst Team Ever getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Stor Klack hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Eguerdi came free, but Romeo Hizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Purcaresti CSS booed when Worst Team Ever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stor Klack didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Worst Team Ever's Lazaros Kotsiopoulos got control of the ball when Cezar Novăceanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Worst Team Ever were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Purcaresti CSS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kalle Berg took the corner. Martin Bacanu hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Eguerdi came free, but Romeo Hizo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Worst Team Ever's Kalle Berg got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugen Tiberiu in the 41st minute. Stor Klack might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Hizo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stor Klack ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Worst Team Ever getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Isaias Eguerdi hit a great ball. After 45 minutes of play Purcaresti CSS's Ionuț Gane was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Worst Team Ever's Isaias Eguerdi got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Worst Team Ever were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Eguerdi made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Isaias Eguerdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Worst Team Ever's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Eguerdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Purcaresti CSS's Romeo Hizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Berg in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Worst Team Ever defense, Cezar Novăceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lazaros Kotsiopoulos. The Worst Team Ever fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lazaros Kotsiopoulos should have stopped the shot. Isaias Eguerdi's late challenge caught a Purcaresti CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Eguerdi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Worst Team Ever's Isaias Eguerdi got a free kick in the 74th minute. Stor Klack might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Hizo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stor Klack ran back to his position shaking his head. After 88 minutes, Avram Ciprian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purcaresti CSS and the Worst Team Ever players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Avram Ciprian. In the 89th minute of the match Kalle Berg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Hizo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
