SAN MARTIN MZA's Zeledon Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Öfverman in the 20th minute of play. Marcus Löfkvist hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Fritz Bållström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Juan Ignacio Cianci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sannegården BK's Sebastian Larsfelt got a free kick in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Juan Ignacio Cianci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fritz Bållström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Ignacio Cianci took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fritz Bållström. Fritz Bållström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 45th match minute, Sannegården BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Löfkvist to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Emil Björkdal was the one to do the kick off. Zeledon Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Öfverman in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Sannegården BK were awarded a corner. Nils-Emil Björkdal went to the cornerflag to take it. 56 minutes into the match, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Hård came free, but Zeledon Markel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Quintyn in the 60th minute of play forced Sannegården BK's goalkeeper Fritz Bållström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Juan Ignacio Cianci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fritz Bållström made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Lázaro Eyague sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Sannegården BK defense, Lázaro Eyague kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fritz Bållström. The Sannegården BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fritz Bållström should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Quintyn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fritz Bållström was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After 72 played minutes C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Pozorski. In the 74th minute of the match Michael Blomqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Markel skillfully saved the ball. If Juan Ignacio Cianci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Stabbe threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Jesus Abad quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Quintyn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fritz Bållström was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Sebastian Larsfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Elia's late challenge caught a Sannegården BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Elia helped the player get up and apologised. Linus Sundström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zeledon Markel. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
