The Mauro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Mauricio Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wasyl Pincoski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Bernátek having to interfere. Natalio Nuñez's late challenge caught a Mauro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natalio Nuñez helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Areco FC got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Nuñez. Areco FC's Igor Cristofor got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mauro getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Edoardo Di Mattia hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Mauricio Argider in the 45th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Zeng Di Ang's left hand side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixto Bernaldo was the one to do the kick off. Zeng Di Ang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benja Dominguez in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Mauro's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cristofor came free, but Zeng Di Ang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Areco FC's Eduard Bernátek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Areco FC from getting a goal against them. Sixto Bernaldo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Zeng Di Ang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Areco FC. Venancio Tomi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeng Di Ang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Zeng Di Ang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benja Dominguez in the 75th minute of the match. Zeng Di Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Bernaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
