It was Francisco Carrasqueira who took care of the corner kick. 10 minutes into the match, Areco FC's goalkeeper Eduard Bernátek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berto Guinea. 16 minutes into the match, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's goal looked a bit too open when Benja Dominguez came free, but Tarcísio Lucena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Bernátek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Areco FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Iker Llin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertold Guine in the 33rd minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Eduard Bernátek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Sixto Bernaldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Tarcísio Lucena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Sixto Bernaldo put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tarcísio Lucena. Tarcísio Lucena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Cristofor in the 42nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Eduard Bernátek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sixto Bernaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Tarcísio Lucena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Bernaldo in the 54th minute of play. Eduard Bernátek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Guine, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Alexandre Águas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Areco FC the free kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Areco FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF.
